Having graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a B.S. Degree in Marketing and Public Relations, Ivy’s career began during her college years, when she launched her denim collection I.B.I.V. The jeans, whose sheer audacity impressed then-Vogue fashion Editor Elizabeth Saltzman, have been described as modish and edgy, embodying the energy of the sixties. Within three months of their launch, the jeans were featured on the cover of Women’s Wear Daily. Once she and her designs had achieved instant notoriety, designers scrambled to embrace her new trend and she single handedly changed the marketplace with her fashion forward designs. After her designs had made their way into the mainstream, they were featured on MTV, Beverly Hills, 90210, three National Coca-Cola Commercials and Good Morning America. Ivy opened up a portal with her paintings then rented studio space she called, “The Art of Mysticism” on University Place. The Huffington Post was first to see Ivy’s studio where art meets magic. Ivy Supersonic was diagnosed with cancer on January 3, 2025, after the biopsy came back from her surgery on December 19, 2024, for a 15-pound mass; the size of a watermelon. Ivy was advised to start Radiation and Chemotherapy at the end of January, followed by Immunotherapy. She went for a second opinion & was told the same.January 25, 2025 Ivy went on The Supersonic Diet: Kicking Cancer's Ass One Meal at a Time. 34 days later... NO sign of Disease. Ivy's mother, Lillian Dennett, passed away on July 2, 2005. This July marks 20 years since Lillian went to Heaven. In June of 2005, Ivy's mom was diagnosed with cancer. Ivy never told her. She believed there was a cure. She believed she could find it and save her-but Ivy didn't have enough time.
In 2010, Ivy began a journey of relentless research and study. What Ivy didn't realize was that she'd first have to save herself.
